EMbeDS SEEKS ONE TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN INFORMATICS

As part of the recuitment associated with EMbeDS, the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies has opened a call for the recruitment of one probationary position of Assistant Professor in accordance with art. 24 paragraph 3, letter (B) of Italian Law 240/2010, Academic Recruitment Field "Informatics", 01/B1; Academic Discipline "Informatics" INF/01.

This position will be based in the Institute of Economics. Consistent with EMbeDS methodological focus, the successful candidate will develop algorithms and quantitative methods for the analysis of complex systems and big data -- with a particular focus on their application to the study of economic and social systems. His/her research will be integral to at least one of the four research themes pursued by the Institute of Economics within the framework of EMbeDS: (i) Innovation and the 4th Industrial Revolution; (ii) Industrial Dynamics, Competitiveness and Financial Markets; (iii) Economies as evolving Complex Systems; (iv) Social and Environmental Sustainability.
